Good packing is the difference between arriving with intact glassware and unboxing a cardboard tragedy. SAMA Movers offers standalone packing and unpacking — with or without our moving service — starting from AED 499 for a studio, using materials rated for hot-climate transit and long-haul shipping. A trained packing crew arrives with all materials, shrink wraps furniture on site, and labels every carton by room and fragility. You can book packing-only (we leave sealed cartons for your own truck), packing + transport, full pack-move-unpack, or unpacking on its own.

What We Pack

Everything a home holds — no item is too ordinary and no drawer too chaotic. Our house packing services cover apartments, townhouses and full villas alike. The usual list:

• Clothes and wardrobes: wardrobe boxes with hanger rails keep suits, abayas and dresses on their hangers — no re-ironing — while folded clothes travel in cartons labelled by room
• Shoes, bags and accessories: wrapped in pairs, boxed upright and labelled, so the right pair surfaces on day one
• Kitchen and utensils: dish-pack cartons with cell dividers, individually wrapped stemware, sealed cutlery drawers, labelled spice boxes and padded cartons for small appliances
• Fragile and high-value items: custom wooden crates for artwork, chandeliers, marble tops, TVs, mirrors and glass shelves
• Personal items and the random stuff: books, toys, documents, ornaments, cables — the “drawer of everything” every home has. We sort, wrap and label it; nothing gets tipped loose into a box

Unpacking Services

Our unpackers do the reverse of everything above: cartons opened, contents placed where you direct, wardrobes re-hung, the kitchen back in its cupboards, and furniture we disassembled reassembled — and the empty boxes, wrap and offcuts leave with the crew, so you are living in the new home rather than camping in it. Unpacking books as part of a move or completely on its own, including when you moved yourself or another company delivered the boxes. Most clients tell us professional unpacking saves them one to two days of work.

Female Packers and Unpackers

Many households prefer a woman handling wardrobes, personal effects and bedroom packing. Female packers and unpackers are available on request for clothes, personal items and dressing rooms — at the packing stage in your old home, the unpacking stage in the new one, or both. Mention it when you book so we schedule the right crew; a day or two of notice is usually enough.

Buying Moving Boxes On Their Own

You do not have to book packing to get moving boxes and materials from us. Standard carton boxes are AED 10 each and wardrobe boxes with a hanging rail are AED 20, delivered to your door — delivery is quoted separately depending on your area. Bubble wrap, stretch film, masking tape, moving blankets and mattress covers can come on the same delivery.
